Statement of FaithCalvary Chapel has been formed as a fellowship of believers in the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Our supreme desire is to know Christ and be conformed to His image by the power of the Holy Spirit. We are not a denominational church, nor are we opposed to denominations as such, only to their over-emphasis of the doctrinal differences that have led to the division of the Body of Christ. We believe the only true basis of Christian fellowship is Christ’s (Agape) love, which is greater than any differences we possess, and without which we have no right to claim ourselves Christians. We believe worship of God should be spiritual. Therefore, we remain flexible and yielded to the leading of the Holy Spirit to direct our worship. We believe worship of God should be inspirational. Therefore, we give great place to music in our worship. We believe worship of God should be intelligent. Therefore, our services are designed with great emphasis upon the teaching of the Word of God that He might instruct us how He should be worshipped.

August – Church Picnic Potluck and other activities to be announced Helps Group 1st & 3rd Wednesdays at 1pm at the church - see Kasandra Brewer for more details Wed nights - Youth study for kids 10 & up with Nathan Gilbert Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. - Youth Drama, grades 4 & up Monthly Ladies Brunch – 1st Saturday of each month, studying the names of God. See Janie Long if you are willing to host a brunch in your home. Men’s Breakfast Bible Study – 3rd Saturday each month Ministry Needs Wednesday Night Childcare – Would you be willing to help with Wed night childcare? Nursery Workers Needed –1-2 more workers, couples or youth age 12 and up also invited to help! See Brandee to be put on the new schedule! Event Helpers- When we have church events, we will need people to help set up, tear down and transporting tables from time to time. We have some upcoming events and she will need some hands to help! See Janie Long Prayer / Card Ministry –If you would like the monthly list of families at CCB that is being prayed for by the Prayer Group, please sign up on the back table.
